Most of those who tested positive ate at the Souplantation in Lake Forest on March 23rd or 24th.
Authorities have yet to determine the source.
The restaurant has been allowed to stay open after inspectors declared it safe.
Health officials are asking anyone who ate at the restaurant and has developed symptoms to contact a physician. Symptoms may include bloody diarrhea, abdominal cramps and a low grade fever.
In some people, especially children under the age of five and older adults, the infection can lead to a very serious condition affecting the kidneys.
