CO2 Tech Announces Patent-Pending Membrane Separation System
Tuesday April 3, 9:00 am ET

LONDON, April 3, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- CO2 Tech President, Ms. Helga Schotten, today announced that CO2 Tech has filed an application for a patent in the U.S. on its technology and applications related to the Company's proprietary membrane separation system.

The purge stream from industrial reactors represents an important resource recovery and pollution reduction opportunity. CO2 Tech's patent pending membrane separation system improves process economics and reduces air pollution by recovering feedstock. The company developed selective membranes to separate the hydrocarbon feedstock from the argon, so that the feedstock can be recycled to the reactor. The value of the recovered hydrocarbon is high, so a short process payback time is possible.

``Our membrane separation system an effective way of reducing pollution. This high-potential system is suitable for a wide range of industries and the Company intends to add this technology to its pool of products that it applies in international carbon-reduction projects,'' said Helga Schotten, President of CO2 Tech.
