good morning howdy- pump and dump is an expression older than my trading days in the penny markets. I'm surprised you haven't heard it before. Interpretations may vary somewhat from person to person, but the gist of it is a trader that will buy a stock and come on message boards like this and post messages praising the stock and the company like it will be the next Microsoft or Walmart trying to entice many people to buy it. Hopefully it will create demand and raise the share price. Then the trader will quickly dump his stock at a nice profit and move on to his next victims. I have nothing against swing trading or day trading as long as the trader is not trying to intice people into his scam on message boards.
The iBox will be updated with more info on the company as time goes by. I want to include a brief history, share counts updated occasionally, and current PRs. My opinion of this company hasn't changed and from what I have been seeing it will not change in the forseeable future. I do not want to use my position on this board as a podium to destroy this company. I think they will do that to themselves eventually.
And now a question for you. You have used the term smash and grab before. It was the first time I have heard it. Could you define your meaning of that phrase? I guess I just haven't been to anywhere where it is used.
Thanks

I may not agree with what you say, but have fought and will continue to fight for your right to say it. USArmy 1966-1975
