Hallin..The DD I did on Telmex/Telnor.. turned up some very interesting facts that could very much add to Onev's bottom line and it does look like Onev's timing is perfect..I will share some of what I found..The first thing I read was that Mexico as a whole was charging subcribers up until recently by the individual phone call..Also..all added tech features were individually priced..There were no bundles like we have here in the U.S. as far as three way calling and other features were concerned..If you read the last couple of filings from Telmex..you can see where they have spent close to a billion dollars to upgrade their system to handle both bundling and higher tech features..This of course has made it easier to take on more advanced tech such as Onev..From the following link you can see were Telnor has now added bundled services..(Plan Optimo and Plan Total) into the individual add on list.. I would imagine this is where Onev's tech will also appear when it launches..
You can either purchase the software there..or cut and paste the Spanish into the trial box and scroll down to Spanish to English and punch it in..
Telmex/Tenor is promoting these bundled packages..which include three-way calling and the likes to their customers in a very big way..If Onev can get into one of the bundles..then Onev's penetration rate goes up very quickly.. The last couple of filings and power point presentations from Telmex.. clearly shows that Telmex is looking to this build up of added technological enhancements and bundling of all add on services to help increase their bottom line..Like I said Onev coming on at this time is perfect for both companies...veno
