Autonomous Solutions, Inc. Has Been Chosen by the Idaho National Laboratory to Supply Hardware and Software for Development of Collaborative Unmanned Systems

LOGAN, Utah, Feb. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI), a designer and manufacturer of unmanned vehicle systems, software, and components for industrial and military clients, announced today that the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) has chosen ASI's Mobius(TM) product for the collaborative development of unmanned systems.

Mobius' JAUS (Joint Architecture for Unmanned Systems) compatible command and control software, will be used as the core command and control architecture for INL's unmanned vehicle technology development. INL has also purchased one of ASI's low-cost automated vehicles to serve as one of the Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV's) in their experiments.

INL's program will focus on creating and evaluating technologies to enable unmanned land and air vehicles to complete more complex mission scenarios than current technology allows. ASI's Mobius(TM) software has the infrastructure and functionality to simultaneously control multiple vehicles using the JAUS protocol. It includes multiple vehicle plan de-confliction, mission choreography, a multi-vehicle mission spooler, and set of safety features which enable collaborative missions for ground vehicles.

INL will also add its own mission and visualization modules to Mobius' modular architecture. Mobius(TM) modular architecture allows users "add-on" capabilities while still customizing it for their own application.
