I was wondering about Arete Resource Group that Ruberg formed in 2006 with a partner, Kay Louie. The heading from their web site states:

Areté (Greek...) in its most basic sense means "virtue," but the word actually means
something closer to "being the best you can be," or "reaching your highest human potential."
The man or woman of areté is a person of the highest effectiveness using all faculties to achieve
real results. We at Areté Resource Group are of areté. We are passionate about our work,
thrive on a challenge and are committed to your 100% satisfaction with the work that we do.

The following is from the Arete Resource Group website:

Bruce Ruberg founded Areté Resource Group with his partner in 2006. After realizing that many consulting
firms were very good at providing nice presentations that included recommendations for management, very few
actually implemented or executed on these recommendations. It is this premise that actually drove the
formation of Areté Resource Group.

From September 2005 thru September 2006 Bruce held the position of Vice President of Finance and Operations
Controller at JDS Uniphase, overseeing all of the business unit finance groups in addition to manufacturing
finance and the corporate finance planning and analysis groups.

Prior to JDSU, Bruce was Vice President and Controller for Aspect Communications and was responsible for all
areas of finance. Prior to Aspect, Bruce was the Vice President and Controller for Zhone Technologies and was
responsible for establishing all financial functions for this $500 million dollar venture startup. Bruce has also
held a variety of financial positions at Ascend Communications, Vitalink Communications, Racal Vadic,
Ultratech Stepper, Johnson and Johnson and American Hospital Supply Corporation.

Bruce received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana.

I hope that Bruce Ruberg is all that the Atete web site suggests and that he plans to stay longer than he did at the last place he was employed.
