This piece by Mr. Sinclair was very moving when it was first published in 1973. It was a very popular at the time and was made into a record with moving background music and played extensively on radio stations. Mr. Sinclair died in 1984. In an article today in the Washington Post indicates that his former employer, a radio station in Canada, plans to re-release it with adaptations to fit the current situation. Hopefully we'll hear it played extensively again. Let us all stand as one. God bless America.
