Update

Wow, thank you for all the kind thoughts. It's so wonderful to know that Bill has such great friends here. Your thoughts and prayers are very touching.

I have just talked with the doctors. Bill suffered 3 broken ribs, a bruised larynx, and a partially separated shoulder. Considering what was left of the truck, he must of had an angel with him.
As per his request, he will be released later this afternoon. He is not happy as I understand it, because he is not supposed to talk for the next 5 days. If you know Bill at all, this will be the hardest part of what looks to be a short recovery. Personally, I think bill chucking a bed pan at a grumpy intern helped in their decision.

Also, the man that crossed the center lane and clipped the truck he was driving was arrested for drunk driving, and fleeing the scene of an accident. I have sympathy for people who drive drunk.

Bill's cousin who was following him, said the truck flipped several times before hitting a tree cab first. I consider myself lucky to still have him here. He is a great father, and a good person.

Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. I plan on printing them off and take them to him.
