But haven't we seen units identical to EDIG units in the past and EDIG had nothing to do with?

I mean isn't this:

And the Silhouette showed up as something else as well. There were even other "Odyssey" brand players that showed up on eBay that had nothing to do with EDIG. EDIG clearly did not own the design (physical appearance) their previous units. So I wonder how you can make this conclusion based on looks when you have seen in the past that it doesn't really mean anything???
