Well, if the shares keep increasing by 50 -75 milion per clip, the institution buying those shares in bulk are obviously getting a discount. So when we think of 'how can a mm possibly keep shorting the stock,' you better think in terms of accredited investors shorting stock through a mm

mm's will trade stock for their own account/strategy

most of the time, stock will be allocated to a block trading account or some other firms account. FMR usually has their own trading strategy. I'm sure companies like Cornell have their own trading strategies as well when it comes to otcbb/otc stocks
