Interesting Speculation John...
So you think all that may have happened on Oct 20 is that a couple of MMs had a few pops over lunch and decided to trade 19 million shares of ENGY, over 10x the preceding 20 day average...for kicks.

Given your view of the OTC I'm suprised you even invest in anything on this 'exchange'...at all.

Personally I tend to view the trading as just that...trading. Frankly I don't think MMs engage in the type of activity you describe. If you have some evidence to the contrary I'd welcome it...

If you check the stocks you referenced I think you'll notice a few PRs and some promotion...the usual source of increased activity.

If you want to taste the fruit, you have to go out on a limb. But if you wait for the herd to move out on the limb....the branch tends to snap.
