That post is wrong where it states that:

"Fundamentals drives stocks. not phoney baloney charts."

It is the traders that drive a stock's price, whether or not he or she believes in the value of charting there are many many people who trade on TA, so whether or not they or right or wrong on their predictibility it still influences the stock price as people enter and exit based on charts.

I will agree in part however to the statement that resistance points and support level analysis can often be wrong, I never rely on them for an entry or exit point for that reason.

Perhaps this person is bitter because they could never master TA.
