Honest answer WinOneGipper is that we Brits are quite reserved, yes, there are discussions and lots on the news, but looks like Iran might just be making a stand by the look of it to show who`s boss, or the other route, they will be using them as scapegoats to release the 5 Iranians held by the US.
As to Blair, my personal opinion is he has no backbone and is a puppet to Bush.
Maybe they are using the Brits to get to the Americans, knowing the alliance Bush and Blair have re Iraq, but Blair is standing down as Prime Minister shortly, God help us,
we`ve got Gordon Brown more than likely taking over, the current Chancellor of the Exchequor.
I don`t like him as a politician, but he is much harder than Blair and seems to take no prisoners, excuse the pun, as to the current outcome, I hope with negotiations, they will be released and Iran would have made their point and the 15 can return home to their families or back to duties, hopefully nothing like we have seen in Iraq with beheadings e.t.c. as no one deserves that, especially the innocent.
