Donating Supplies: Where to Go, What to Bring

Sept. 13 — If you wish to help the rescue effort at the World Trade Center disaster site and those who have been forced to evacuate their homes in lower Manhattan, you may wish to donate much-needed supplies at the designated drop-off sites.
The following is a list of items in short supply:

• hard hats
• tissues
• safety goggles
• permanent markers
• oxygen tanks
• baby powder
• first-aid ointment (neosporin)
• anti-bacterial soap
• flashlights
• inhalers
• ice
• ponchos
Donations may be brought to:

Chelsea Piers
23rd Street at the Hudson River on the West Side of Manhattan

11th Avenue at 35th Street on the West Side of Manhattan
