jking: do you recall when Jim Plant was saying CK had the only patent on BBM and an official with M-systems (now part of Sanddisk) said M-systems developed it 10 years prior.

U3 is open source development, and software developers are coming up with software to run directly from the flash unit, but what is interesting is none have been able to run MSFT software yet. Keeping that in mind, JP in an interview claimed to be able to run MSFT apps like Excel directly from the drive. Amazing.
