Folks with ETIM shares:
Please be careful with this investment and take advantage of profitable situations as they arise. The odds of ETIM making it to multiple dollars per share is slim. The odds are slim because the urn, coffin, and funeral products business is well developed and many hundreds, if not thousands, of products are already on the market, whether for humans or pets. I do not doubt that ETIM will be able to establish itself as a niche provider of a particular product within a greater industry, however, to think that ETIM is going to step in and dominate this industry is foolhardy and wishful thinking at best.
Please stop and ask yourself some simple questions:
Why would someone want to buy an ETIM pet urn over the other many hundreds available already? Is it just because it has the AKC stamp? Maybe so for someone with a showdog, but why would that matter to Grandma Smith and Fluffy's ashes?
What about the urns for people? There is an unlimited variety to choose from. Why are people going to select a major league baseball team over the many many others? People may be die hard baseball fans when they are 20, 30, or 40, but are they at 70, 80, or older? Also, it is not the die hard baseball fan that is likely to pick out the urn, again, does Granny Smith want a Chicago Cubs urn on her mantel? Is she going to pick that? Is the dead person's grandchild going to pick it? Who is going to select it? Of the people who want it how many can afford it?
I could go on and on but the point is this, ETIM will probably be OK as far as a niche within the broader funery businness, but why should they be any more than that? Please folks, and all on this board I want to do well, just don't bet the house on this. I will be glad to share my other thoughts for those who are interested. Good luck and don't drink the koolaid.
