I would like to say good morning...

... but it is not.

It is good for the soul to see that we are beginning to find survivors. Sadly, we are going to find far more who did not survive.

It is a fact that must be accepted that these events have forever changed the rules. We can postulate what the effects of this may be, but the truth is we have no idea... time and time alone will determine how this will change our lives, our economies and the markets.

IMHO: The wisest thing to do right now is nothing... not to take action, rather to collect information and assess the terrain. You can neither advance nor retreat without recon.

The markets are closed today and I strongly suspect they will be tomorrow as well. In fact, I would be very surprised to see them reopen this week at all. Take this time to study and determine your best course of action and not jump to conclusions or make rash choices.

The focus today is prayer and support for the endless thousands who have forever had their lives changed. Today we grieve for those we have lost. And, most importantly we begin the process of healing the wound. It will be some time yet before we know the scars.

My best to all.

Scott.
