All that info is correct.....this is by far the BEST sight for anyone who is fairly new and wants to "go it alone" in the stock market!

Over the years I have had the opportunity to write several letters on behalf of "worthless" stocks. Brokerage firms will write a letter that states the stock is no longer publicly traded and is deemed worthless.

Be advised however, this may take several months to a few years so don't be too quick to take the tax loss!
