The Vision

Greg, I am so glad for you that you and your wife have been given your vision.

There are many similarities to ideas I have had for my work for God. Mine have more centered on youth. For awhile it seemed like a regular church camp, then I had ideas to at least include a camp for Hospice kids. Not only kids who are terminally ill, but also the children of the terminally ill. This came from experience gained through the loss of my last wife, Jolene. One idea that came to me was to use youth ministry in a way that rewarded the gifted and outgoing young Christians and spread the word. This was an idea to finance a motor home to travel the country to see the beauty God has created in this country and have singing around the campfire ministries to draw in the other campers to maybe reach them and begin or strenthen their own walk with Christ,

Another idea that came about from my own research on alternative building (straw bale. adobe, underground, monolithic domes, etc) and research on independent living (power generation, water systems etc.) and my work with troubled youth in the past. This was an idea to take troubled youth, in conjunction with Kiwanis Boys Home and find youth that was interested in building and energy and train them in these arts. I mentioned this to Porscha as he is also interested in these areas and is a contractor.

I am not yet sure that God has directed my course in this regard and I am still searching and praying.
