CyberKey CEO accused of defrauding investors
Federal authorities have accused the chief executive of CyberKey Solutions of defrauding investors by selling unregistered stock and falsely claiming the company had a $25 million purchase order from the Department of Homeland Security.
The Securities and Exchange Commission announced yesterday that it filed civil fraud charges against CyberKey and its founder and chief executive, James Plant, in federal court in Philadelphia. In addition, federal prosecutors on March 12 filed a criminal complaint against Plant, who was arrested by FBI agents the following day in St. George, Utah, where CyberKey is based, on charges of securities fraud.
The SEC is seeking unspecified civil fines against Plant and CyberKey as well as restitution to investors.
Who really gives a rats a## to whats in the IBOX. Thats up to the Mod. Who really knows why Jannie got rid of it.
I wonder why Petar was not arrested? Do not get me wrong I have serious questions as to what he is all about but. But I find it interesting that Plant was arrested outright and Petar was not. This is a small positive for SLJB.
