I know what you are trying to say but let me correct you on a few points:
A)"Once it becomes clear to MM's that a stock is one of those very rare stocks on the pinkies or OTCBB that is not a total POS, and that it has a real business plan and good management that will see that business plan to fruition, then they will stop shorting it." -> It takes a while for a start up to get to that point usually.
B)Many traders in the micro-cap arena assume that MM's are holding down a stock by shorting it when, in reality, the stock is a POS and that is why the MM's are shorting it.
-> Actually it's the MM's that short it for the online brokers i.e. e*trade, AmeriTrade, ScottTrade, just to name a few.
C)Once significant news hits the wires we will be off to the races in my opinion.
