"from increased drilling revenues and cessation of unprofitable
operations from an industrial mineral joint venture after selling its interest to its joint venture partner in the fourth quarter."
It will be interesting to see the details. Sounds good. I would guess that the bulk of the profit came from the 'cessation', or sale, of the mining JV.
They couldn't say 'increased production' because we know there wasn't any, from the DOGGR reports that go through December.
"Increased drilling revenues", combination of the Nevada rig being contracted out and ... well, that would be it, right? The rest of the "drilling revenues" would be TIV paying their subsidiary to drill wells at Temblor, and that would net out as a wash ... I think lol, I guess we'll see.
It's a shame they could PR an exact profit number and EPS, yet had to delay the filing. However, it got the expected result, a nice pop in PPS, and green is good.
I got back in from some errands just in time to find that GTC orders I had put in a while back around this resistance level (to unload traders bought around support below) had filled all around $8.
I guess we'll see what happens next!
