There was a layoff.
There was a change in management.
There was a restructure of shares.
They did bring in outside help to resurrect their failing projects.
And they did swap shares for failing businesses. (Any high tech business that can be bought for less than the cost of a decent cabin cruiser, is by definition a 'failing business'. lol)
