Advanced Technetix Announces Pending Corporate Name Change

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Advanced Technetix, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AVXN - News) announced today that the company has changed its corporate name to AccessKey IP. According to the company's management, the name change has been precipitated by a potential trademark dispute from a United Kingdom Corporation with a similar name, The Technetix Group. As opposed to incurring the costs of a potentially protracted legal defense, the Company's management and Board of Directors voted to abandon the current corporate name in favor of a new one.

George Stevens, AccessKey IP's CEO, admitted, "While unfortunate, the need to abandon the relatively new 'Advanced Technetix' name has become necessary in order to avoid potential litigation. Luckily, the issue is easily and inexpensively rectified with a corporate name change that is in process. A shareholder consent representing over 51% of the Company's voting shares has been ratified and the amended Articles of Incorporation have been filed and approved with the State of Nevada reflecting the company's new name, AccessKey IP, Inc."
Additionally, the company is initiating a trading symbol and CUSIP change to correspond with the name change which will be announced when completed.
