"When the company says, break-even will occur by the end of Q4 2005 or Q1 2006, and it will happen at 15,000 subscribers and are over halfway there - only to find out they were never over halfway there, let alone no where near break-even then or even a year since then... yeah, that's info one takes to the bank."
When this statement was made, they were only a DVD mail rental service. They didn't have all of the other things yet. They knew what they wanted and it was in the future plans, but it wasn't here yet. So at that point in time, breakeven could have been at 15,000 at have happened in those quarters. Since they were expanding into new things, more money was required which will then push break even further away. So, IMO, you don't know whether they could have gotten there or not at the given time frame. IMO
