Neuro, It's not like there is some new short term release technology that has to be invented. All they do is give an ultra short acting high impact Ampakine infrequently. So it's mainly a new dosing regimen, not anything exotic with the compound. Compound-wise, the chief requirement is that it have an ultra short halflife, and there are presumably plenty of those compounds already. The trick in the past has been to try to engineer the longest halfife possible. That's still desirable for low impacts, but not needed/desirable for high impacts using Dr. Lynch's new dosing approach. Anyway, this may open the door wide open for AMPA upmodulators that wouldn't have previously been viable.
