Neuro, How can you be sure that "none of them are ever going to be developed for neurodegenerative disorders"? As I recall, the research collaboration between Cortex and Servier was primarily for high impacts, and there was one compound in particular that came out of that collaboration that was highlighted in a press release several years ago. It was reportedly 1000 times more potent than CX-516 and neurotrophic (I had jokingly dubbed it the "Owsley acid / monster compound"). What would prevent Servier from advancing a high impact compound like that for AD or Parkinson's?
