Important to note that it now appears that solar stocks are uncoupling from the energy sector(oil and gas). This is a huge change which will lead to a multi year rally. In the past, solar would move with the overall energy group, then fade away as oil hit its normal cyclical peak. What we have now is a political commitment to fighting global warming. Believe in it or not, true or not, the perception has become reality. This is one of the tenets of making huge sums in the investment world, according to George Soros. The perception that we need to do nothing less than save the planet has become reality.

Supply and demand for solar mfg, the EU decision to make a major cut in greenhouse gases increased their value overnight, for example, ESLR, FSLR sell most of their production overseas.

anticipation of carbon credit trading, increased federal solar tax credits, the generous calif solar init rebates make wwat very attractive. morgan stanley has allocated $3billion to trading carbon credits in the future and are entering a.e. funding.

BoA announced they are hoping to lend $20billion towards residential/commercial a.e.

If they can wrangle deals where they can themselves become a power producer and sell electricity from large MW CPV systems, either using emcore and/or entech panels, then they enter another league.

Do I pay .51 or .55, should I wait; all meaningless. Buy and go trade something else.
