One thing I don't get about Ruiz's mobile comments is why he didn't illustrate the advantage AMD has by working with partners. When prompted to comment on/compare with Centrino (hard to tell what the question actually was) he mentioned the partnership strategy, but what he should have said was: "Look at Centrino -- the built-in wireless is 802.11b. With our strategy, mobiles built with our chips are offering the much-improved 802.11g wireless communication right now, instead of waiting for the Intel chipset to get around to it."

Of course, that would have sounded too much like Jerry. But it's true -- Centrino is overpriced and underperforming, yet it's not politically correct to point out.
