99.99% of brokerages will not let you margin penny stocks or any stocks which are not listed on a major exchange or at least $5.00 per share in value. Another myth is that the everyday investor can short penny stocks. Usually the same principals apply to that as well...Major exchange, $5 per share... If I had access to short pinkys, I would be a billionaire by now as my record of predicting the demise of all pinkys that showed up on my radar is 100%. Not bragging but its the truth. That game is saved for the big boys... however if anyone can provide me with a brokerage that will let me short pinkys, I would be happy to vanish forever if you could help facilitate that connection by offering me that information.
