How to Play

When the teams are set, sometime this Sunday, you can start to enter your brackets on this board.

(It will help if you first print out a bracket at home, and then fill it in by pen. Get it from the newspaper or from here http://www.sportsline.com/collegebasketball/mayhem/brackets/viewable_men )

Then make a post showing your picks of the Sweet Sixteen onward. You don't have to show your picks from the first round of 32 winners. They won't be used here. Too complicated.

That's it! Notice we don't want your first round of 32 winners. Just the Sweet Sixteen onward.

Special rule: you can't exactly duplicate somebody else's exact seven-team combo of the Final Four winners + Final Two winners + National Champ. When each bracket is entered here, we'll show it in the iBox so you can easily see what others have already picked. That means you should enter early if your heart is set on a particular seven-team combo of Final Four + Final Two + National Champ. If you duplicate somebody else's choices of Final Four onward, you will be asked to change one of your teams. That happens a few times every year.

Scoring will be 3 pts for every correct Sweet Sixteen pick, 5 pts for every correct Elite Eight pick, 10 pts for every correct Final Four pick, 20 pts for every correct Final Two pick, and 40 pts if you pick the national champ. (Tiebreaker, if necessary, will be the sum of the seeds of all your winners in each game you picked right.)

NO MULTIPLE ALIASES! This is a good-faith pool for iHub friends, and it's all in fun. There will be some sort of prize for the top 4 winners, hopefully an iHub premium sub of a month or a few months. There are no rights or guarantees. We mods are gods and have the final say-so.
