Jimmy, its legal for mm's to naked short in order to create an orderly market or any market at all. If a company publicly pronounces anything about unscrupulous marketmakers its whining. Sorry thats just the way I see it. Shockingly enough you didn't hear a peep when the stock rose 200% in a day.
