Hey Bonded,
I do production work in LA and I am on the Paramount Studio Lot frequently.
Steven Spielberg has an office here. Its about 500 square feet. He is never there, I guess that means he is 'not' making any pictures?

R&R isn't a production company. I expect, that if you go to the production company that is shooting the TV show, They are working on it.

Just I side bar. Paramount has no 'one' working in there office on 'production' they don't own any of their own cameras, or lights, the 'Sub' everything out to independent companies.

One last note on why R&R has an office and if that makes them a 'real' company.

ESPN does not own their own equipment, they rent from a company called Bexel, who also provides a crew. All the cameras and crew at this years Super Bowl were rented from Bexel in Orlando.

Bexels office in Orlando is about 1000 square feet in a nondescript office/warehouse complex. If you went there to rent cameras, You would not see them, You would have to look in a catalog, doesn't mean they don't rent them or have them, they ship from CA.

Most independent producers like myself work out of our homes. When I need a crew, I call them up we meet at Starbucks and I set the production. I do work for Universal Pictures, Paramount, FX, and FOX, they don't care if I work out of a trailer as long as i do the job.

I do award winning programs that you have more than not watched on TV. But I guess because I work out of my house its not 'real' work.

I think maybe a half a dozen people on this board have some TV production knowledge, I have been reading post here for months, but bonded1 your post and remarks about what qualifies a 'real' company and 'real' production are so dumb I had to respond.

It doesn't matter when R&R starts filming as long as SPIKE has that tape one day before it's suppose to air.

I have stock. The concept sounds great. You wouldn't believe all the crappy Reality Show Concepts that I get pitched, or know about.

Why wouldn't this program work? Think about Nanny 911, Who's Your Mommy, Wife Swap, and all the other junk. Here you got cars, and amateur racers, I am going to watch just for the crashes and so are a lot of other people.
