Mar 8, 2007 10:15:00 AM
JERUSALEM -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 03/08/07 -- IDenta Corp. (PINKSHEETS: IDTA) announced today that the Chinese Police Force has approved IDenta ALERT Explosive Identifier products for purchase by all police departments throughout the country. IDenta's representatives in Beijing, Lotus International Trade Co., negotiated the agreement after months of testing and negotiation to open this major opportunity for the company.

"This is a major global breakthrough for IDenta ALERT in one of the most significant markets in the world," stated Yaacov Shoham, IDTA CEO. "We have made numerous presentations of the IDenta ALERT product around the world in the last seven months, and are now in the testing and negotiation stages with several very large customers. We are most pleased with Lotus International for spearheading this marketing program, and especially wish to thank the Chinese Police Force for this very valuable endorsement."

Communications to all police departments in China are now being delivered by the agency's central office authorizing each police department to begin purchasing the IDenta explosive detection products. The potential number of IDenta ALERT units which may be sold each year has not been determined, but is expected to be very significant because of the sheer number of agencies throughout the country.

IDenta's new detectors are able to detect the full range of the well-known types of military, commercial and the homemade explosives including: TNT/PETN, RDX/NITRATE, UREA NITRATE, AMMONIUM NITRATE, TATP/HMTD, and CHLORATE/BROMATE.

TATP, Ammonium Nitrate, and UREA NITRATE are particularly extremely dangerous compounds which have caused massive destruction of property, and loss of life in the hands of terrorist organizations. Recently three tons of Ammonium Nitrate were captured in Canada which were expected to be used by terrorists from Al-Qaida.

Triacetone Triperoxide or TATP, also known as "Mother of Satan," has been named as the explosive used in the 2005 London Bombings, is used in the majority of suicide bombings in the Middle East, and was included as the trigger in the shoe bomb that was found on the December 2001 flight from Paris to Miami.

IDenta is also expecting that the IDenta ALERT products will soon also be adapted by a major European country.

Recently IDTA also announced that its STINGER line of drug detection products had been chosen for use by the Indonesian Police Force.
