Japanese automobile electronic product maker Fujitsu Ten said November 12 in Beijing that it would release its automobile navigation system, Eclipse, in China in January in the hope of taking a 20 percent market share by 2007.

The first product to come to the market is the Eclipse AVN 5533, which includes a global positioning system, and audio and video components.

It will be sold in the cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and Changchun and in Guangdong Province at a price of about 25,000 yuan (US$3,000).
