OT:roni - NST is a progressive tax (short)

I am fine with progressive taxes (to a point). If you look at the details, you will see that the 'fairtax' proposal (National Sales Tax) actually is a progressive tax. Likely *more* progressive than our current system.

I like the fact that, w/o loopholes we would actually know that high spending individuals were paying their progressively 'fair share', and not paying lawyers to shelter their earnings. The poor and middle class can't afford those tax specialists.
