Thanks :) I just returned from a month long trip where I was not up on things. I was just looking around the web and finding non stock related articles about Skins. Geez, I see I posted that 3 times.... and I actually thought I was semi-computer literate! ;) Sorry all. Anyway, here are the other sites I meant to post, sorry if they are already here somewhere-

SKINS FOOTWEAR SPONSORS CLOSING NIGHT OF MOCA'S 'SKIN + BONES'
EVENT MARKS SKINS PRODUCT LAUNCH AND FIRST OUTING WITH SPECIALTY MARKETING GROUP SLAM

LOS ANGELES, CA, March 2, 2007 - Skins Footwear has partnered with GenArt to host the March 5th closing night of the Museum of Contemporary Art's Skin + Bones exhibit. Titled "Skin + Bones: Parallel Practices in Fashion and Architecture," this is the first comprehensive museum exhibition to examine the common methods, precepts and practices that are drawing fashion and architecture together, transforming the design of contemporary society.

The footwear brand and the exhibit share a common bond in their revolutionary approach to Skin and Bones: Skins Footwear is a revolutionary two-part, footwear structure consisting of an outer collapsible "Skin" and an inner support section called the "Bone." The design allows consumers to purchase one inner Bone and numerous outer Skins, resulting in multiple style variations from one pair of shoes, with the same feel and fit no matter what Skin he or she wears.

'Skin + Bones' presents a careful study of major developments in the period from 1980 to the present and includes 45 fashion designers and architects from the United Sates, Europe, England and Japan. Fashion designers include Issey Miyake, Alexander McQueen, Viktor & Rolf and Vivienne Westwood.

The closing night party at MOCA will likely attract upwards of 400 of LA's most inspirational and influential people, and Skins has designed a guest lounge especially for the occasion. "This is the perfect atmosphere in which to celebrate our launch," said Skins Footwear CEO Mark Klein. Skins' first line of footwear officially comes to market later this month.

The partnership between Skins and GenArt at MOCA marks another first: the footwear company recently announced an alliance with SLAM (Sportie LA Media), the media marketing division of top indie retailer Sportie LA. SLAM provides nontraditional marketing and consulting for select brands. "Our goal was to find a uniquely appropriate venue for Skins," said Isack Fadlon, co-owner of Sportie LA. "With the MOCA exhibit we've found that, in name and in nature."
