Now you really don't know what your talking about. I was in aerospace for 20 years and I know for a fact that APS would have to have some generic certification since the FAA allows nothing on an aircraft without one, down to pillows, carpets, and phones. I'm also sure they have burned a couple of digEplayers since that is also a requirement to determine burn rate and toxicity of materials, another certification.
