re games

Of course the real questions is whose games are going to be on Apple TV.

My question isn't whose games -- I suspect Apple will happily sell games from a number of providers, and that it's possible to get games into the device from other sources much like it's possible for clever people to get music on the device from other sources -- but what the limits of the computational requirements are. For example, if the graphics are limited to Intel's integrated graphics, perhaps challenging XBox for video quality is far-fetched, but this might leave open other opportunities. For example, does the USB port enable game controllers? If so, could the device allow wii-like controllers, or flight simulator controllers, or the like?

I think surround sound and high-def would make a great underwater adventure game ... how much of this can be done on the computer and then piped to the device?

Lots yet to learn. Should be interesting ....

Curiouser and curiouser.

Exactamundo!

Take care,
