A while back, in the times Compaq, IBM and Cyrix made CPU besides AMD.

Do you just randomly blurt out things that cross your mind?

First of all Compaq never made processors. DEC transferred
its Hudson fab to Intel before Compaq acquired it.

Secondly IBM and Cyrix's revenue share of the x86 MPU
market probably never collectively exceeded 2.8% let alone
28%. The chip was a complete dog, especially on FP, and
sold at a huge discount compared to Intel products.
