High Tech Market Jitters

I think that some people focusing on Apple are concerned about sales of iPods being cannabilized by Dell and others. The iTunes Jukebox and store is a lost leader for iPod sales, so alot is at stake for Apple. The IBM 970 has put APPLE in the cost effective performance lead in the High End of the PC market .... that something to crow about. In general, I think the recent Gartner report showing little growth in IT spending as a bellwether for weaker than expected growth in tech stocks. I'm thinking about buying back into Corning now that the Bells want to rollout Optical Fibre to the home.
