Here is the overall issue at hand.
EITHER:
1)The bible (KJV) is the WORD OF GOD
2)It is not.

In the pages of scripture, God has choosen...to reveal that mankind does infact have freewill.

So.....If you believe that God exists in the first place, then certainly he has control as to ALLOW freewill.

Seriously though, the issue is rejecting the authority of the Word of God-bible.

It is a puzzling thing. The truth knocks on the door and you say, "Go away, I'm looking for the truth," and so it goes away. Puzzling.
