Lithium ION Energy secures joint venture with SureFQ to advance Urgakh Naran Lithium project

Sintana Energy advances Orange Basin portfolio with key exploration updates

Sintana Energy CEO Robert Bose recently spoke with Steve Darling from Proactive to provide a comprehensive update on the company’s Orange Basin assets, highlighting significant progress across PEL 83, PEL 90, PEL 87, and PEL 82. Bose sahred positive results from the Mopane 3-X well on PEL 83, operated by Galp. The well, which targeted new AVO anomalies 10 and 13, delivered better-than-expected results across nearly every parameter, confirming the presence of high-quality oil and condensate. This discovery has the potential to establish a new development hub, positioning PEL 83 as a key asset in the basin. Moving forward, activity will focus on evaluating partnership opportunities, with Galp expected to seek new partners in the coming quarters. The first Chevron-operated well on PEL 90 did not encounter commercial hydrocarbons but was still regarded as a technical success. Bose emphasized the company’s confidence in the exploration potential of the block, noting that the joint venture partners plan to return for further drilling later this year. Bose also provided an update on PEL 87’s Saturn Superfan prospect, where Woodside Energy chose not to proceed after completing a 3D seismic survey. Despite this, Sintana remains highly optimistic and is now in discussions with alternative supermajor partners. “We’re very excited about opening up the doors to larger, potential partners,” Bose stated, highlighting the continued confidence in the asset’s potential. Chevron has officially completed its farm-in at PEL 82, located in the Walvis Basin, paving the way for drilling operations next year. Bose also pointed to the growing political support for oil and gas development in Namibia, with upstream regulatory oversight now moved directly under the President’s office—a move he called “a huge step forward” for the industry. Structural Monitoring Systems: 20% growth & cash flow milestone

Structural Monitoring Systems Executive Chairman and CEO Ross Love talked with Proactive about the company’s aviation-focused growth strategy, recent product developments, and financial performance. Love explained that the company operates across three segments: avionics for special mission fleets, contract manufacturing, and the development of CVM (Comparative Vacuum Monitoring) technology for detecting microscopic cracks in metal structures. He noted, “The investment case is this is a business that will grow at around about 20% a year plus or minus.” One of the highlights discussed was the launch of a compact version of their digital audio system, which is tailored for emergency services and aerial firefighting fleets. These products are increasingly in demand, with installations underway across North America, including for California’s CAL FIRE — the largest aerial firefighting fleet. Love also detailed their expansion into South America, which is facilitated by similar infrastructure to the North American market. He said, “We supply most of the critical flights across North America… we’re making inroads into Europe and into South America.” On the financial front, Love highlighted that the company has doubled in size over the last two and a half years and is now operating with positive cash flow for the first time, following a successful capital raise of over $8 million. atai CEO outlines strategic focus for 2025 including four major data readouts

atai Life Sciences (NASDAQ:ATAI, ETR:9VC) CEO and co-founder Dr Srinivas Rao talked with Proactive about the company's upcoming clinical milestones and strategic focus in 2025. Rao outlined four major clinical readouts across atai’s pipeline of short-duration psychedelics, including updates on VLS-01, BPL-003, RL-007 and EMP-01. The company has dosed its first patient in the VLS-01 trial for treatment-resistant depression, a study that includes an innovative two-dose approach. Rao noted, “This will be the first data set that's going to come out that really addresses the question of what is the incremental benefit of a re-dose?” The trial is expected to read out in Q1 of next year. The BPL-003 trial has completed enrolment and is expected to report results mid-year, alongside RL-007, which targets cognitive impairment associated with schizophrenia. EMP-01, which focuses on social anxiety disorder, is also underway with data expected around the same time as VLS-01. Rao also highlighted that atai recently raised additional capital, extending its funding runway into 2027. The company is focused on short-duration psychedelics with easy-to-administer formulations, such as VLS-01's oral strip delivery system.
