Our good friend jack vance passed away

I am so sorry to report to the edig group that our good friend Willie Paul Culberson, aka jack vance, passed away on October 19th at 9:45. He was 58.

I spoke to his brother, Art, this morning inquiring about jv as we had not seen his posts for sometime. He told me that Willie Paul had melanoma and had been ill for some months but was reluctant to tell very many people.

I told Art that he had a great many friends on the internet through his association with edig and that his style of communication was informative, but quite often made us laugh as well, and we will remember his wit.

Our prayers will be for Willie Paul and his brother.

Does anyone live close to Ashland, Alabama, where jv resided?
