IMO, Whatever happens won't happen until after April when the whole BKMPP mess is cleared up. That may be why he did that at this time. To "settle" up if you will.
Could get very interesting. If he is doing TFN-SA and plans to go around the globe, then it stands to reason that TFNUSA is an abbreviation that will line our pockets with cash.
Couture stated in his PR that they plan on covering the US in 2007. Maybe it takes a little longer, but it only takes one announcement to get that ball rolling.

See how easily the network Garrow and Winick have created will (could) work together?
As big a deal as UFC is in the USA, if the guys watching from the US realized Couture was on TFNUSA, they would tune in and get hooked. It doesn't take a genius to see where this could end up.. the financial implications are mind boggling.

You are so right in thinking that a merger with a bigger company would be the ignition to the rocket engines of wealth... I don't know if IFL will "merge" with TFN. Partner maybe. A Time Warner/Direct TV/ Sirius deal would be the ticket that blasts this network higher than the satellites they are broadcast from.... I can't believe that SIRIUS hasn't brought TFN radio online yet. Think of the numbers NASCAR Channel 128 has generated? Most of the race fans at the race track has Sirius in their cars listening to the prerace, post race, qualifying and then chat about the races throughout the week.
We can do the same with fight fans.
The big build up for tonight's fight would be a huge radio show.
Then we can have a UFC hour every day with Joe Rogan... A Randy Couture show. Hell, Shamrock is a blow hard that loves to run his mouth and is always surrounded in controversy... He can have a show that will draw attention... Then we sell McMahon some time to showcase his circus... Programming this channel would be the best and easiest job in the world. That's just radio... TFN USA is just a dream... Hopefully it will become reality soon. Its Got a Nice RING to it too!
Mainstream USA is only a matter of time away. We own 20% of the outcome.... Maybe more.... Get excited about that!
