Candel Therapeutics shares positive survival data for investigational immunotherapy in NSCLC

Candel Therapeutics CEO Dr. Paul Peter Tak joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce final survival data from a Phase 2a clinical trial evaluating the company’s investigational immunotherapy in patients with stage III/IV non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who had an inadequate response to immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) treatment. The study reported a median overall survival (mOS) of 24.5 months in 46 evaluable patients who received two courses of the investigational therapy. In a subset of patients who had progressive disease at baseline despite ICI treatment, mOS was 21.5 months. Historically, similar patients receiving standard-of-care chemotherapy have had mOS between 9.8 and 11.8 months, with published studies rarely exceeding 12 months. With a median follow-up of 32.4 months, the data demonstrated long-term survival benefits, with 37% of patients who had progressive disease despite ICI therapy still alive two years after treatment. Based on these positive results, Candel Therapeutics will continue advancing the development program, including preparations for a potential registrational trial in patients with non-squamous histology NSCLC. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has previously granted Fast Track Designation for the investigational therapy in combination with an antiviral agent and ICI therapy for patients with stage III/IV NSCLC who are resistant to first-line PD-(L)1 inhibitors and do not have activating molecular driver mutations or have progressed on targeted therapy. COSOL Sees U.S. market as key growth driver

COSOL Limited Managing Director Scott McGowan talked with Proactive at AIM's Small and Midcap Conference about the company’s role in driving operational efficiency across asset-intensive industries. Even a 2–3% improvement, McGowan said, “makes a significant difference to their bottom line.” COSOL has grown revenue from AUD 30 million to over AUD 110 million since listing. Gunnison Copper advances Johnson Camp Mine construction, on track for Cathode Production in Q3 2025

Gunnison Copper SVP- Operations Robert Winton joined Steve Darling from Proactive to provide an update on the ongoing construction progress at the fully permitted Johnson Camp Mine in southeast Arizona. Speaking with Proactive, Winton confirmed that construction activities are on schedule, with the company expecting to produce copper cathode by Q3 2025. Mining of mineralized material officially began in January 2025, and the extracted material is currently being stockpiled in preparation for the completion of the leach pad. The Phase-1 leach pad has been successfully completed, while Phase-2 is advancing rapidly. Once Phase-2 is in place, the company will begin installing Nuton’s advanced processing equipment, a key step toward optimizing sulfide and oxide mineralized material processing. Gunnison Copper has also completed the redesign and construction of a state-of-the-art laboratory for on-site material and process analysis. The lab is set to begin ramping up in April 2025 and will be fully commissioned once leach pad production is underway. Additionally, the company’s HR team is making significant strides in building a strong workforce, with an emphasis on local hiring. Chesnara CEO discusses strong 2024 results, dividend growth and M&A outlook
