Oshkosh Truck Names Paul D. Ericksen Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer

Ericksen joins Oshkosh Truck after 30 years with John Deere, where he developed a reputation for implementing workable solutions to complex problems.

Ericksen has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Iowa.

This is interesting. The new chief of procurement at Oshkosh is a guy who has 30 years of experience with the only company that has a working production IVT unit. Well maybe at least he will understand that Oshkosh will need that set up and might be looking at Torvec's unit as the way to go. Hope so. Granted, the John Deere IVT's were designed for farm equipment, and Torvec's were designed for regular use. This seems to be a little troubling to me.
