Oriole Resources targets new resource estimate as it wraps up Phase 5 drilling at Bibemi

Oriole Resources PLC (AIM:ORR) CEO Martin Rosser talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the latest results from the final seven holes of the Phase 5 drilling programme at the Bibemi Gold Project in Cameroon. Rosser highlighted that all drill holes were in the Bakassi Zone 1 mineral resource estimate (MRE) area, with multiple gold intersections identified. Notably, six of the seven holes were on new drilling fence lines, reducing spacing to 50m. He explained that this additional data strengthens confidence in the JORC resource calculation and suggests potential for MRE expansion. “We’re expecting scope for an increase in the MRE and also an enhancement to the JORC categorisation,” he stated. Oriole Resources is now integrating geological and structural data into a revised MRE, expected in Q2. The company also continues metallurgical testing and has submitted an environmental and social impact assessment to the ministry. Arrow Exploration reports 2024 reserves growth, highlights Tapir Block potential

Arrow Exploration CEO Marshall Abbott joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the company’s 2024 year-end reserves evaluation, conducted by Boury Global Energy Consultants Ltd. The results highlight significant reserves growth across all categories, reinforcing the high resource density of the Tapir Block in Colombia and Arrow’s ability to drive future growth through drilling. Abbott revealed that proved developed producing (PDP) reserves surged by 92% to 2.38 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMboe), primarily due to the successful horizontal drilling campaign at Carrizales Norte. The net present value (NPV-10) before tax for PDP reserves stands at $71.3 million ($29.89/boe). Additionally, proved (1P) reserves increased by 10% to 5.80 MMboe, driven by discoveries at Alberta Llanos and further horizontal drilling success at Carrizales Norte. The NPV-10 for 1P reserves is $114.57 million ($19.75/boe). Arrow delivered strong reserves replacement ratios of 134% (1P) and 231% (2P), fueled by major discoveries in the Alberta Llanos Carbonera, Guadalupe, and Ubaque formations, as well as continued development at Carrizales Norte. These results emphasize the sustainability of Arrow’s growth strategy and the long-term value of its Colombian and Canadian assets. Looking ahead, Arrow is preparing for a robust 2025 drilling program with a fully funded $50 million capital budget, balancing development drilling and low-risk exploratory wells. Novo Resources set for Balla Balla drilling

Imugene’s Azercell shows strong response in blood cancer

Imugene Ltd CEO Leslie Chong talked with Kerry Stevenson at Proactive about the FDA's fast-track designation for its immunotherapy candidate, Azercell. The therapy, an allogeneic off-the-shelf CAR-T treatment, has shown promising results in patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), a highly aggressive form of blood cancer. Chong highlighted that four out of seven patients treated with Azercell achieved complete response, meaning their cancer was no longer detectable. The longest response duration has now exceeded 11 months. “The FDA has recognised the importance of a product like this and has given us fast-track designation,” Chong stated. The FDA's fast-track status allows Imugene to expedite regulatory discussions and move towards potential commercialization more efficiently. The company sees this as a critical milestone, with Chong emphasising that the priority now is gathering sufficient data to advance towards registration studies. With an estimated 80,000 new DLBCL cases diagnosed annually in the US, Azercell could address a significant unmet need, especially for patients who have exhausted other treatment options.
