Southern Cross Gold reveals Sunday Creek scale

Southern Cross Gold Consolidated CEO Michael Hudson talked with Proactive at the AIM's Small and Midcap Conference about the company’s focus on gold and antimony exploration in Victoria, Australia, particularly at the Sundae Creek project. Hudson outlined the scale and significance of the discovery, describing it as “one of the most exciting gold discoveries globally… a rare tier one multi-million ounce high grade discovery.” The company is advancing exploration rapidly, with six drill rigs currently operating and plans to expand to eight. Hudson said the company has completed around 70km of drilling and estimates an exploration target of 2.2 to 3.2 million ounces gold equivalent, grading between 8.5 to 10.6 grams per tonne – all within just 5% of the identified trend. Hudson explained that China and Russia dominate the global market and recent export bans have highlighted supply vulnerabilities: “You don't have a defense industry without it. And the Western world really doesn't have it. Norfolk noted that early results in Canada are ahead of schedule, with further updates expected on the ASX. AuKing prepares for gold mining at Mt Freda site

AuKing Mining Ltd managing director Paul Williams talked with Proactive about the company's latest update on its Cloncurry Project in Queensland, focusing on the Mt Freda deposit. Williams confirmed that with Orion Resources nearing acquisition completion, AuKing is preparing to restart mining operations at the historical Mt Freda gold mine. Opioid-Free pain relief: AFT’s global expansion strategy

AFT Pharmaceuticals Ltd Managing Director Dr Hartley Atkinson talked with Proactive at the AIM's Small and Midcap Conference about the company's unique approach to drug development, its expanding global footprint, and what lies ahead in 2025. AFT Pharmaceuticals is focused on creating pharmaceuticals "with a difference," targeting unmet needs and reducing reliance on opioids. “We don’t sell anything we don’t believe in,” said Dr Atkinson, highlighting the importance of alternatives to opioid treatments. One of the company’s key analgesic products helps avoid opioid use — a particularly timely innovation in light of the global opioid crisis. Dr Atkinson discussed the company’s core markets, with a strong presence in New Zealand and Australia, generating approximately 150 million in revenue. AFT also maintains operations in Asia and now exports to around 80 countries. The company has experienced sustained growth, having quadrupled in size over the past decade and doubled in the last five years. AFT has established six new affiliates across regions including Singapore, Hong Kong, South Africa, Canada, the UK, and Europe.
