"Why isn't it made clear the the royalty will be per-unit?"

Um....I thought the definition of "royalty" covered that in cases like these. I'm no expert though. I, unlike others here, could be wrong. What else would "royalty" mean? A "license" covers the use of the technology. Isn't "royalty" the amount per unit to be paid? Just askin'
